 | Friday, June 13th, 2008: Hits Galore! Flores Drills 5 Hits! "It was almost like batting practice. I saw the ball very well and could just about hit it anywhere I wanted." That's what Fargo first baseman Ramón Flores said to SION reporters after his fantastic 5-5 day against the Reno Tenpinners at Jurassic Park. "I got some good counts and used the whole field." The Dinosaurs had a good day, too, and won the ballgame 10-2. R. Flores hit an RBI double in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and hit a two-run double in the 8th. On the season, Flores is batting .366 with 8 home runs and 36 RBIs. He has played in 62 games. |
