 | Monday, July 7th, 2008: Reyes Will Miss 7 Months After the end of today's game between Reno and Tempe, José Reyes skipped the clubhouse and headed straight for the doctor's office. After he was removed from the game as a precaution after throwing a pitch, the Tenpinners had their worst fears confirmed when it turned out to be more serious. The starting pitcher will miss at least 7 months with back spasms. Reyes has posted a 1-2 record in 2008 with a 4.71 ERA. Teams are hitting .254 against him and he has rung up 37 strikeouts in 49.2 innings. |
