Saturday, July 26th, 2008: Jones Spins Shutout Against Arlington
It was a smooth and solid performance by Jerry Jones of the New Jersey Hitmen against Arlington today. He crafted a fine 1-hitter in blanking them 7-0 and chalked up 5 strikeouts and 1 walk along the way.

"It certainly makes my job easy," said the New Jersey skipper. "When my pitcher pitches a shutout. I can just sit back, watch, and enjoy."

Jones has a 10-4 season record so far. In 21 starts, he has fanned 92 batters in 118 innings with a 2.52 ERA.
