 | Monday, July 28th, 2008: Delgado on a Hot Streak, SL Player of the Week All week long Alberto Delgado was the toughest out in the Sovereign League and that is the prime reason he was voted the Player of the Week. The Bakersfield center fielder rapped out 9 hits in 20 at-bats for a .450 batting average, drove in 7 runs and scored 7 times. In 2008 Delgado has produced 97 hits in 360 at-bats for a .269 average with 17 home runs and gotten on base at a .340 clip. |
