 | Thursday, July 31st, 2008: Aurora-Manchester Swap: Yamauchi for Berry A trade between the Aurora Borealis and the Manchester Maulers was made official this morning. The Aurora Borealis have sent 22-year old minor league catcher Francesco Amati, 23-year old starting pitcher Ryuichi Yamauchi and 20-year old first baseman Tony Torres to the Manchester Maulers in exchange for 23-year old catcher Wilson Berry, 22-year old minor league shortstop José Rivera and a 7th round draft pick. Thus far this year Berry has hit .262 with 6 home runs and 39 RBIs. |
