 | Friday, August 1st, 2008: Pew Claims SL Batter of the Month Award Jude Pew, Bakersfield's right fielder, won the Sovereign League Batter of the Month Award for July! To take the honor he put up some good numbers including a .393 average, 14 home runs and 37 RBIs. The SION Baseball Writers Association will present his trophy at the next home game for the Bears. Thus far this season Pew has hit .341 with 31 home runs, 101 RBIs and scored 70 times. |
