 | Monday, August 11th, 2008: Left Fielder Carlos Madrigal Out "I'm frustrated right now," said Kalamazoo left fielder Carlos Madrigal. "I can't help this team by sitting on the bench or in the training room." Unfortunately for the Badgers, that's where he will be spending the next 2 weeks. Madrigal suffered a hyperextended knee in today's game against Canton while making a defensive play. "Believe me," he said, "I won't be out a day longer than I have to be." During the current season Madrigal is batting at a .270 clip with 4 home runs and 40 RBIs. He has played in 104 games and scored 47 times. |
