"I can't help this team by sitting on the bench or in the training room." Unfortunately for the Badgers, that's where he will be spending the next 2 weeks. Madrigal suffered a hyperextended knee in today's game against Canton while making a defensive play. "Believe me," he said, "I won't be out a day longer than I have to be."
During the current season Madrigal is batting at a .270 clip with 4 home runs and 40 RBIs. He has played in 104 games and scored 47 times. | |
