Friday, August 15th, 2008: Santana Socks It to Bulldozers, Cracks 5 Hits
It was high-5 day at Mack Stadium, at least for Armando Santana of the Omaha Cyclones. He got a lot of high-5's from his teammates for his outstanding hitting against the Yuma Bulldozers. Santana smashed 5 hits in 6 at-bats on a his record-setting day, leading his club to a 13-2 win.

His manager said, "Armando was hitting everything. It really was a special game for him."

In the other dugout the opposing manager told SION beat writers, "He ambushed my boys today. Obviously we didn't have much success against him, but luckily, tomorrow is another day. Hopefully it will be our day to shine."

A. Santana singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, singled in the 6th, struck out in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.

This year Santana has socked 149 hits in 476 at-bats for a .313 average with 6 home runs. He is getting on base at a .383 pace and his totals also include 45 RBIs and 71 runs scored.
