 | Monday, August 18th, 2008: Week's Premier Performer Honored by IL The Player of the Week has been announced by the Imperial League. The honor went to Barry Murdock, third baseman of the Kentucky Thoroughbreds. He burned up the league with a .478 average to win the award. Murdock went 11-23 for the week, totaled 3 home runs with 6 RBIs and scored 4 times. In 2008 Murdock is hitting .244, batted in 61 runs with 18 home runs and 50 runs scored. |
