Breaking News Friday, May 1st, 2009: Cheeseheads Blank Chandler, Williams Winner Monte Williams held the Waxers to 1 harmless hits as the Madison Cheeseheads whitewashed Chandler by the score of 6-0. Williams had 5 walks and 6 strikeouts in the win. Thursday, April 30th, 2009: Chandler Befuddled by Page The Waxers were no match for Owen Page of the Madison Cheeseheads. He totally shut down Chandler at Cheeseheads Ballpark. In the 8-0 win, Page tossed a 5-hitter, struck out 7, and walked 3. This year Page has compiled a 3-2 record with a 3.44 ERA. Thursday, April 9th, 2009: Waxers Kawasaki Down and Out for Year Kagehisa Kawasaki of the Waxers just might have to call it quits for the season. The 28-year-old Chandler catcher received a possible season-ending injury against the Sioux Falls Lakota recently at Ballpark of Chandler.
