| Breaking News |  | Monday, August 25th, 2008: Narragansett Left Fielder Week's Best in AA
There's nothing like being in the prime of your baseball career -- and playing like it. Just ask Greg Randall, the Narragansett left fielder, who swung a sweet bat all week to not only aid his team, but also pick up the American Alliance Player of the Week honors.
Randall piled up 11 hits in 25 at-bats, 2 home runs and 5 RBIs while hitting .440.
Randall is currently hitting at a .270 pace with 14 home runs, 50 RBIs and has scored 46 times.

 | Thursday, July 17th, 2008: Jackson Fires Shutout in Rockville Victory
"Sometimes I was smart . . . and sometimes just a little lucky." That's how Mike Jackson of the Rockville Reckoning described his shutout victory over the Narragansett Seagulls. Jackson blanked them 9-0 on 5 hits while striking out 7 and walking 1.
In 2008 Jackson has a 4-7 record with a 3.28 ERA.

"He's mixing his pitches real well and keeping his composure on the mound," the Monterey manager said. "When Luján does that, good things happen."
These comments came after Gabriel Luján and the Monterey Sea Lions shut out the Narragansett Seagulls 7-0.
He had 6 strikeouts, 1 walk and allowed 4 hits.
