However, the Frontier came up short on the scoreboard and lost the game 7-1. M. Flores singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, flied out in the 6th and flied out in the 8th.

The Bismarck right fielder went 6 for 6 in the game to put his name in the record book.

The Portsmouth second baseman said to reporters in the postgame interview, "It makes it easier if you get a good pitch. The odds are in your favor then, not the pitcher's. I got a bunch of very pretty pitches to hit today and I didn't miss any of them."
