Takanobu Miyashita of the Miyamoto Kongs blanked Namuko 2-0 on a 1-hit complete-game shutout, striking out 9 batters and walking 2.

A pitcher's main job is to keep the opposition off the scoreboard and Miyamoto pitcher Takanobu Miyashita did just that today in a 2-0 victory over the Kyoto Rodans at Kongs Ballpark. He gave up no runs in his start, permitted 3 hits and had 10 strikeouts.
So far this season Miyashita has a 4-1 record with a 2.37 ERA.
