Oliver Guzmán was born to be a ball player.
"Pops always said I learned to swing a bat before I learned to walk."
Guzmán, the Moca center fielder, really displayed his hitting ability this past season. His .356 batting average led all Liga Dominicana de Béisbol Invernal hitters.
On the season, he collected 85 hits, socked 3 home runs, scored 48 runs with 30 RBIs. The LDBI-DOM WL's top batter also played in 59 games, had 16 doubles, 3 triples and walked 32 times.
