The Roadrunners Phillip Black will be out of action for up to 2 weeks with an undisclosed injury. The closer reportedly suffered the injury while punching a wall during a fight with his girlfriend.

All week long Tony Carmona was the toughest out in the San Juan Winter League and that is the prime reason he was voted the Player of the Week.
The Aguadilla catcher rapped out 5 hits in 9 at-bats for a .556 batting average, drove in 6 runs and scored 4 times.
Thus far this year Carmona has hit .310 with 5 home runs and 32 RBIs.

Javier Gonzáles is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Aguadilla shortstop joined that select company when the San Juan Winter League announced the results of December's voting.
Gonzáles totaled no hits, no walks, no home runs, 0 RBIs and no runs scored last month to put together a .000 batting average and .000 on-base percentage.
