Fans in Guaynabo ushered in Marcos Sotelo today as their new shortstop. The 31-year-old came to terms with the Commandos and will be hauling in $4,218,400 a year over 2 years.

This week's outstanding performer in the San Juan Winter League was first baseman Miguel Castillo of the Guaynabo Commandos.
He racked up a .591 average and was voted the Player of the Week. Over the last week Castillo plastered 13 hits in 22 at-bats and 4 home runs, drove in 9 runs and scored 11 times.
