 | Saturday, December 20th, 2008: San Juan Star DTD with Bruised Foot
Sharks center fielder Okakura Nagai was injured while running the bases against the Aguadilla Roadrunners. The injury was diagnosed as a bruised foot. The San Juan standout is not expected to miss too much action and will be listed as day-to-day. He could be out about one week.
Batting .362 to date, Nagai has 2 home runs and 19 RBIs.

 | Monday, December 15th, 2008: Juan García Out for 3 Weeks
"I'm frustrated right now," said San Juan right fielder Juan García. "I can't help this team by sitting on the bench or in the training room." Unfortunately for the Sharks, that's where he will be spending the next 3 weeks. García suffered a fractured foot in today's game against Aguadilla while running the bases. "Believe me," he said, "I won't be out a day longer than I have to be."
This year García is hitting .262, produced 14 RBIs and 3 home runs, scored 23 times and gotten on base at a .394 rate.
