Monday, June 22nd, 2009: Poole Holds Kauai Scoreless
Geoffrey Poole of the Ewa Beach Imperialists was masterful today, pitching a 4-hit 5-0 shutout against the Kauai Monsters and giving his bullpen a rest by going the distance.

According to his manager, "He had command of every ball and every pitch... great location, too." Poole had 1 strikeout and issued 1 walk in an impressive outing.

Friday, June 12th, 2009: Stephens's Season Could be Over
The season is finished for Jayson Stephens of the Ewa Beach Imperialists. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Imperialists starting pitcher suffered a fractured elbow while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Mauna Loa Vulcans. Team doctors said it would take at least 13 months to heal.
