 | Friday, September 19th, 2008: Kentucky Holds Nutmeggers Scoreless
Minoru Hashimoto shut 'em down and shut 'em out, hurling Kentucky past Connecticut 7-0 in a complete game victory.
He told SION sportswriters in the postgame interview, "This is a game of adjustments and I made some good ones in this game."
Hashimoto held the Connecticut Nutmeggers without a run, tossing a 3-hitter while walking 1 and fanning 5.
So far this season Hashimoto has a record of 8-15 with 56 strikeouts and 78 walks in 173.2 innings and a 4.77 ERA.

Bernardo Marín of the Connecticut Nutmeggers had an enormous week at the plate and today was voted the Player of the Week by the Imperial League.
For the week Marín batted .385 (10-26) with 3 home runs and 7 RBIs.
In 112 games this season Marín is batting .293 with 112 hits and 18 home runs. He has scored 58 runs and driven in 63.
