With stuff like that, it was easy for Armando Pineda of the Bureaucrats to handcuff the Underground 8-0 and come away with a complete game 1-hit shutout. He recorded 5 strikeouts and 3 walks in an impressive performance.

Dave Cox of the Florida Featherheads blanked London 7-0 on 3 hits. He rang up 7 strikeouts, keeping batters off balance all day long.
This season Cox has gone 10-8 with an ERA of 3.68, posting 70 strikeouts in 154 innings.

 | Monday, July 14th, 2008: New Orleans Trades Little to London for Gagné
Officials for the New Orleans Trendsetters confirmed that they have traded 37-year old left fielder Daron Little, 24-year old minor league first baseman Morimasa Sasaki and 22-year old minor league starting pitcher Felipe Rodríguez to the London Underground. In return, the Trendsetters will receive 29-year old third baseman Dominic Gagné.
Little has a .244 average and a .309 on-base percentage for the year. He has picked up 61 hits, 9 home runs and driven in 33 runs.
Year-to-date in 88 games Gagné has compiled a .251 batting average with 83 hits and 10 home runs. He has also scored 41 times and knocked in 42 runs.
