He told SION sportswriters in the postgame interview, "This is a game of adjustments and I made some good ones in this game."
Hashimoto held the Connecticut Nutmeggers without a run, tossing a 3-hitter while walking 1 and fanning 5.
So far this season Hashimoto has a record of 8-15 with 56 strikeouts and 78 walks in 173.2 innings and a 4.77 ERA. |  | Sunday, September 14th, 2008: McCullough Cruises to Shutout Conan McCullough of the New Orleans Trendsetters spun his magic on the Kentucky Thoroughbreds today. He blanked them 7-0 on 4 hits, registering 8 strikeouts and 1 walk.
"The bottom line was I just kept the ball down," McCullough said. "My breaking stuff was down. Everything was down."
Talking to reporters in the postgame interview, the New Orleans skipper said, "We got solid pitching, good defense and we took great team at-bats in a lot of different situations. This was just a solid performance by everyone."

"He's got some good stuff, but we should have done better than that," said the Charleston skipper after the 7-0 loss.
Armstrong was on target most of the game and finished with 5 strikeouts and 2 walks.
